The Majestic Players presented the original musical fantasy in two acts at Wests Majestic Theatre, Pomona on 18 to 20 December 1981. It was subsequently extended until 24 December due to popular demand. The production was part of a ten year project which saw the revival of live theatre at the Majestic in 1980, when Many West began directing a company called the Majestic Players. During the 1980s Pantomimes were performed two or three times a year and were usually produced by combining two fairy tales with fresh scripts written by Mandy West and the cast.Date1981Image NoM864629
