Alternative NameEdgewater UnitsAdditional InformationThe Edgewater Units were located at 96 Hilton Terrace, Noosaville, on the banks of the Noosa River. The one and two bedroom units were water-facing and fully self-contained and featured ceiling fans and queen size beds. Full laundry facilities, undercover parking and ample parking for boat trailers were available to guests. Other facilities included pool, barbecue, private boat ramp, private beach and private jetty. Free use of an aluminium dinghy was also available.
Many guests returned annually to enjoy holidays at Edgewater and often stayed for extended periods of 3 weeks to 3 months. Fishing from the jetty was popular and good catches were possible.

In June 1971, Pauline Lee opened a clothing shop called The Dolls House at the entrance to the units.
Bill and Betty Tye were the owners of Edgewater in the early 1970s. They previously owned a cattle property at Eidsvold.
