TitleReverend Eric Smith, Pomona, ca 1950sAdditional InformationIn the early part of the 1950s Reverend Eric H Smith took up the Rector's position in the Church of England (later Anglican) parish of Noosa. St. Mary's Church was in Tewantin and Mr Smith resided at the rectory in Pomona with his wife. His parish vehicle was a little Ford Consul sedan. Rev. Smith was also the District Scouting Commissioner and his scouting name was 'Brolga'. He was addressed as 'Brolga' by the alter boys although they may not have been in the scouting movement.
