Trevor Bishop

Additional InformationTrevor Bishop was a talented teacher, musician, singer, and surfer, he previously lived at Barwon Heads and Queenscliff before moving to the Sunshine Coast.
Trevor taught at Ocean Grove Primary school teaching music and art for 10 years, all the while surfing the coast and playing the hotels along the Victorian coast in particular the Queens Head Hotel in Geelong. Trevor played together with and as a support act for his friends in the band Goanna.

During his university days in the ‘70s Trevor and his friends would travel to Noosa to surf the breaks with his favourite being Granite Bay, he performed his music in many clubs in Hastings Street.

Moving to Eumundi in 1993 with his family Trevor hired the CWA hall in Eumundi teaching music to many locals. Trevor returned to casual teaching at Eumundi Primary School and also coached tennis to local children.
Many locals and visitors enjoyed his beautiful voice, playing his music regularly at restaurants around Noosa for 15 years including the Ivory Bar (French Quarter, later Lorenza’s) and Augello's (now Laguna Jacks) to name a few.
Trevor enjoyed camping and exploring Noosa North Shore with his friends and family.
Sadly passing in 2021 his music lives on and can still be enjoyed on YouTube and at
