The program for the trip included the inspection of tourist resorts, the construction of the Coast Scenic Road as well as sites for proposed development and projects. It involved motoring, walking, hill climbing, boating and transport by amphibious truck. The officials travelled to the Tewantin-Noosa area, Teewah Beach, Boreen Point and the Lakes in the Noosa River system on the third day of their trip.
