Noosa Remembers

ABOUT THIS ITEM

The ProjectNoosa Remembers was a 2017 project undertaken by Noosa Libraries to document the history of all of the World War I memorials in Noosa Shire. The book was researched and written by Joe Hextall and Jane Harding. The project was funded by the Noosa Council Heritage Levy and a Queensland Government QANZAC100 grant.

The book was launched on 7 September 2017 at the Pomona Memorial Rotunda in Joe Bazzo Park, Pomona by the Noosa Council Mayor Tony Wellington.
