Additional InformationMurray Studios was founded in 1908 by Mr Fred Murray in Gympie. When the Great Depression affected his business and staff Fred started a new department calling it Murray Views in 1929, this department supplied postcards of local views to neighbouring areas. This proved a successful venture and later expanded into North Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. Murray Views Pty Ltd is still one of the foremost producers of postcards and souvenirs in Australia.
