ABOUT THIS ITEM
Additional InformationCeleste' was built in 1953 on the Noosa North Shore from Queensland maple. This timber was snigged from North Shore forest and processed by Sam McKinnon's Tewantin sawmill. The engine, being a 3.5 horsepower putt putt was supplied by Olds Engineering, Maryborough in 1953. Once completed this boat joined the Parkyn Hire Boat fleet based at the Tewantin wharf.
