This Butter Factory was built in 1930 replacing the original timber factory which was built in 1915. This building operated until closing in 1975. It was purchased in 1991 by Noosa Shire Council for use as a community centre in 1991. In 2016 Noosa Council handed over management of the centre to the community and is managed now by the Cooroy Future Group who operate the building as a exhibition, workshop and events venue.Date1975PhotographerRob JeffsImage NoT4003334Condition notePlease excuse the quality of this image.
