Additional InformationNancy Cato launched a revised copy of Mister Maloga at a morning tea event hosted by Written Dimension Bookshop at the Sheraton.
The event included readings of Nancy’s poetry by Emma Freeman, thespian Marea Brown and actor Ian Austin. Noosa Council Chairman Noel Playford and Queensland Writers Group representative Robyn Sheahan paid tribute. University of Queensland Press was represented by Nancy’s editor Nicola Evans and Barry Gibson and Penguin Books by Graeme Munch. Also in attendance were ?? and Helanka King and Graeme Fairbrother from Queensland Writers Group and local literates Jock and ? Brown, Pennie Steel and ?? Church, Gwenda Marriott-Burton, Rhonda Burns, Phil and Jackie Jarratt and Shirley Hulme. Other guests included Cheryl Lawford, Phillipa Parry and Libby Clemson.
Nancy’s daughter, Bronnie Norman, to whom the book is dedicated was also in attendance.
