Teewah Beach Airstrip
DETAILS
DescriptionTeewah Airstrip is located on Noosa North Shore. It was first a WW2 airport built buy the Australian Airforce in the late 1930s. It is quite recognisable as an old military landing site due to the multiple runways which minimized cross wind landings as well as made them easier to see from the air.
The Airstrip was Commonwealth land until it was handed over to the local government.AddressMaximillian Road,Noosa North Shore
