Noosa Everglades
DETAILS
DescriptionThe Noosa Everglades is one of only two everglade systems on the planet.
Often called the "River of Mirrors" for its breath taking reflections, this 60-kilometre expanse is a haven of crystal-clear waterways, lush vegetation, and vibrant wildlife, winding through narrow channels that feel untouched by time.
The Noosa Everglades are located within the Cooloola section of the Great Sandy National Park. They are part of the upper Noosa River system north of Noosa Heads. They are accessed via areas like Boreen Point and near the locality of Como, with the Everglades being situated in the Cooloola region
