The first Tewantin Tennis Club was established near the present Harbourtown in the 1920s. Due to flood damage the original clay court was soon cemented. Later in the 1960s the court was removed due to Council development in the harbour area and relocated to Noosaville. Play then moved to the Tewantin State Primary School with the Club reforming on the new lease of land at the Noosa Sports Complex site. The current club was established in 1980.
