Additional InformationTom Salta and his wife Audrey owned Terrace Boat Hire (now T Boat Hire) and the Terrace Stores, a grocery shop on the corner of Gympie Terrace and Weyba Road. They also developed Kirriwina Motel and Caravan Park on the opposite corner. The caravan park land had previously been used for live bait ponds, providing plentifully for the family’s fishing and their boat hire business.
