TitleRingtail School, 1936-37 Additional InformationThis photo was taken on Coronation Day, not sure if it was for Edward VII on 24th January 1936, or, for George VI on 12th May 1937. Ringtail School was situated about 4.35 kilometres up Ringtail Creek Road (off McKinnon Drive), just past Lennox's Top Farm on the left. The flag pole and a plaque can be found near the entrance. The school opened in 1912 to cater for the growing population in the area. The school closed in 1943.Date1937Image NoT0999031
