Pictured: include: Cloudesley John George Parkyn and his brother Howard (left) with Jack Harris by car door (far right). Before the ferry service was established, cars were transported from Parkyn's jetty at Tewantin across the Noosa River to the North Shore using two dinghies roped together. At times the cars were left on the beach ready for
