TitleBank of New South Wales, Cooroy, 1909Additional InformationThe first building in Cooroy was owned by James Duke, who had a timber camp there long before the township developed around the site. Dukes building later became the Bank of New South Wales. This building was constructed on skids, so that when the approaches to the site became boggy, the building could be hooked up behind a bullock team and moved to another location.Date1909Image NoT0999074T4007610
