The 1918, 35mm Simplex (Pictured:) was operated by a motor driving an original Simplex Variable Speed control. Equipped with an original silent aperture, the 61/4 inch lens projected the picture on to a floating screen. In 1956 the Majestic Theatre replaced the original film equipment with Western Electric equipment from the Tivoli Theatre.
