Private residences and San Elanda Guest House (far right) built on the site later occupied by the Noosa Council Chambers. The Guest House was originally constructed in 1906 by Mr Ede and named 'Riverview'. It was the first boarding house in Tewantin. In 1924 it was bought by Mrs Dwyer, who extended the building and renamed it 'Elanda'. In 1936 the guest house was sold to Eliza Donovan, who added another storey and renamed it San Elanda. The building was destroyed by fire on 2 December 1957.Date1937Image NoM863053
