Additional Information1961: Secondary education began as a temporary department at Cooroy State School.1962: Moved to the current 32-acre Tulip Street site in Cooroy 1963: Formally established as an independent institution named Cooroy State High School.1968: Renamed Noosa District State High School to reflect its growing regional student base.2007: Absorbed Pomona's Cooroora Secondary College to manage rapid enrolment growth.
Current Campus Structure:
Pomona Campus: Houses Year 7 and 8 junior students.
Cooroy Campus: Houses Year 9 to 12 senior students.
