Additional InformationThe Noosa Country Show is a vibrant, historic two-day event held every September at the Pomona Showgrounds that celebrates the rich agricultural heritage of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. First started in 1909 by the volunteer-led Noosa Show Society, this long-standing community tradition has been a local institution for over a century, affectionately known as the place "where town meets country". The annual gathering bridges coastal and rural lifestyles through a diverse line-up of classic ring events, livestock competitions, wood-chopping, and an action-packed Saturday night rodeo. Visitors of all ages explore bustling pavilion displays featuring local arts, crafts, and cookery, while enjoying side-show alley rides, live entertainment, and local food stalls.
