Additional InformationThe Noosa Rodeo was an annual event held at Weyba Ranch during the 1960s and 1970s. It included competitions such as bareback bronc riding—featured every year from 1965 to 1974—along with bull riding, calf riding, and bulldogging. Picnic races and social gatherings were also part of the day, making it a full-day event for families and spectators.
Funds raised through gate receipts, contributions, and community donations supported healthcare services for Noosa residents, making the rodeo a significant local fundraiser.
