In this video, recorded in the lead up to the 1996 50th birthday of the LCSC, Jim explains how he came to be 'tangled up with the 'Gympie-ites' and joined the Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club. Jim had the cream run from Pomona to Lake Cootharaba in the late 1940s, collecting cream from farms in the area to take to the butter factory. He describes them as the best days of his life and the sailing club members as the best mates he ever had.
