Members gathered under a large fig tree located across from the present-day Tewantin RSL.
The first permanent structure was a timber hall located on Gooloi Street (which was renamed Poinciana Avenue in 1959).
Relocation: In 1978, the original timber building was sold and moved to Irene Street, where it still stands today as a private residence.
