Also Known AsBig BobAdditional InformationBob Abbot served as Noosa Shire Councillor for Division 1 from 1982 to 1994. Bob was Noosa Shire Mayor from 1994 to 2008. He was elected Mayor of Sunshine Coast Council in 2008, following the amalgamation of Noosa Council, Maroochy Council and City of Caloundra, and served until 2012. He was re-elected as a Councillor in 2014, in the re-established Noosa Shire Council following de-amalgamation from Sunshine Coast Council. He retired from office in 2016.
