DescriptionTwo bridges where constructed in 1972 to connect the Noosa Sound development to Munna Point and Noosa Heads. The bridge between Noosa Sound and Noosa Heads was named for Garth Prowd, the 'godfather' of Australian triathlon and founder of the Noosa Tri, following his death in 2017. The bridge is approximately 200m from the finish line of the Noosa Tri.
