Also Known AsT. S. RisleyAdditional InformationTom Stephenson Risley enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy in January 1940 as 19 year old farmer. He served on the HMAS Cerberus and HMAS Perth. The HMAS Perth was struck by Japanese torpedos in the Sunda Strait (between the islands of Java and Sumatra) and sank just after midnight on 1 March 1942. Signalman Risley was one of the 468 personnel who lost their lives in this incident.
