Alternative NamePattemore's Service CarsAdditional InformationPattemore’s Service Coaches were run by William John Pattemore with assistance from his son William Leslie Pattemore. The service which commenced in approximately 1917 met all trains at Cooroy and provided fast and comfortable transport from Cooroy and Tewantin to Noosa Heads, Coolum Beach, Coloured Sands, Double Island Point lighthouse and other popular beauty spots. Pattemore’s motto was ‘Service First”. Mr Pattemore had two cars and the trip between Cooroy and Tewantin took approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
