OverviewNoel Playford was Noosa Shire Councillor for Division 5 from 1982-1985, Noosa Shire Chairman from 1988-1997, and Noosa Shire Councillor for Division 3 from 1997 to 2004. He was subsequently elected as Mayor of the re-established Noosa Shire Council in 2014, following de-amalgamation from Sunshine Coast Council, and served until 2016.
