Additional InformationBen John’s grandfather came to Noosa in 1892 and settled on the Noosa river between Lake Cooroibah and Lake Cootharaba. Ben’s family have been living and farming in that area ever since and now run Johns Landing as a camp ground. As Ben and his wife Pat prepare to retire and hand Ben’s Landing over to the Noosa Council, Ben talks about his life growing up in this beautiful location. In this interview he talks about farming and bee keeping, life on the river, and the experience of running the Johns Landing camp ground.
